Celebrity Attractions, in local partnership with Stage 13, is excited to announce the winners of the second annual The Broadway Bound Awards of Central Arkansas.

Collin Carlton, a senior at Pulaski Academy, and Annie Zimmerman, a senior at Episcopal Collegiate School, were awarded the coveted spots of representing Central Arkansas in New York City at The National High School Musical Theatre Awards®, otherwise known as the Jimmy Awards®, at the Minskoff Theatre on June 22.

Annie plans to attend Amherst College in the fall. She represented her school in the awards last year and received the Director’s Award for Vocal Excellence. She is an active member of her school’s theater program and a member of Stage 13’s Pre-Professional Company. Her recent credits include “Mean Girls” (Janis) at Stage 13, “Shrek” (Fiona) at Episcopal Collegiate School, and “Bright Star” (Alice Murphy) at Episcopal Collegiate School.

Collin plans to attend Oklahoma City University in the fall. He is a member of Stage 13’s Pre-Professional Company and was a Jimmy Award nominee in 2025. Favorite roles include “Hadestown” (Orpheus) at Pulaski Academy, “Alice” by Heart (Alfred) at Pulaski Academy, “Willy Wonka, JR.” (Charlie) at The Arkansas Repertory Theatre, “Newsies” (Crutchie) at Wildwood Park for the Arts, “13: The Musical” (Evan) at The Studio Theatre and “A Christmas Story” (Ralphie/ensemble) with the Broadway National Tour.

The Broadway Bound Awards of Central Arkansas highlighted and awarded excellence in regional high school musical theater and concluded with a one-night-only special showcase event on May 11. Thirty participants represented 16 area schools. Besides Annie and Collin, other finalists were John Sullivan (Hot Springs World Class High School), Mallory Lafferty (Pulaski Academy), Blakely White (Little Rock Christian Academy) and Evan Hauser (Parkview Arts & Science Magnet High School).
