ASU-Beebe seeking community partners for summer camp

BEEBE — Unleash the potential of young minds this summer with Arkansas State University-Beebe’s Vanguard Discovery Camp, a weeklong adventure filled with hands-on exploration of science, technology, engineering, art and math (STEAM) for students entering grades 4-6.

Vanguard Discovery Camp will be held Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. beginning June 3-7 on the Searcy campus, June 10-14 on the Heber Springs campus, and June 17-21 on the Beebe campus. Campers will dive into exciting hands-on learning modules led by passionate instructors. Past sessions have included art, theater, first aid training, robotics, coding, cooking, meteorology, veterinary technology and more.

This day-camp format engages campers in weeklong sessions filled with intrigue, exploration, creativity and challenge. Students will embark on positive experiences that set them on a trajectory toward a rewarding future career. The Vanguard Discovery Camp, though structured, provides a no-pressure learning environment. Students participate in relaxed, affirming surroundings where they build lasting relationships. The focus is to ignite a desire for lifelong learning.

ASU-Beebe is seeking community partners to share their expertise and help enrich the campers’ experience. If you or your business have a unique presentation geared toward STEAM education, please contact Karen Drobeck at 501.207.6250 or [email protected] to learn more about partnership opportunities.
