Annual St. Joseph Bazaar

St. Joseph School in Conway will host the annual St. Joseph Bazaar on the school’s campus Friday, July 31, and Saturdays, Aug. 1 and 8.

The first bazaar took place in 1912 when the School Sisters of Notre Dame sold fancy needlework to the parishioners to purchase school supplies for the St. Joseph Grade School.

Box lunches will be available 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday. A spaghetti dinner is planned 5 to 8 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 1.

An old-fashioned midway with a variety of booths and games including Plinko, an animal fair, ring toss, a bounce house and a cake stand opens at 5:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday, July 31 and Aug. 1. There will also be a raffle for a 2014 Ford F-150 SuperCrew truck to be given away.

Events on Saturday, Aug. 8, include a silent and live auction for adults from 5 to 9:30 p.m., with Kids Night Out at the St. Joseph Youth Center for ages 3 and older.
