26 Mar 2018 501 LIFE to be featured on Channel 4 segment

The April edition of 501 LIFE will be highlighted on KARK Channel 4 during the 12:30 p.m. news show on Tuesday, March 27.

Each month, 501 LIFE co-publisher and editor Sonja Keith presents information about the current edition as it hits the streets. “This month, 501 LIFE is all about ‘Celebrating spring’ with a focus on home and garden in its April issue,” said Keith. “This month’s edition has some great features on flowers and school gardens as well as a special effort under way in Conway to renovate older homes.

“This issue also features a special eight-page insert highlighting this year’s Night of Distinction presented by the University of Central Arkansas.”

Kale Gober, UCA vice president for University Advancement, will join Keith for the Channel 4 segment to share information about this year’s event and honorees.

UCA will recognize three graduates during its Eighth Annual Night of Distinction on Saturday, April 28, in the McCastlain Ballroom on campus. The honorees: Distinguished Alumni Award recipients Curtis Barnett and Dr. Gene Sloan, and Alumni Service Award winner Jim Schneider. 

501 LIFE is a sponsor of the event, which will begin at 6 p.m.

Proceeds from Night of Distinction benefit student scholarships.
