501 LIFE to be featured

The November “Celebrating Thanksgiving and fall” edition of 501 LIFE will be highlighted on KARK Channel 4 during the 12:30 p.m. news show on Tuesday, Oct. 30.

Each month, 501 LIFE co-publisher and editor Sonja Keith presents information about the current edition as it hits the streets. “This month, 501 LIFE is all about the beauty of fall, with some wonderful fall foliage photos by 501 LIFE Photographer Mike Kemp,” said Keith.

“We are also excited in this issue to share with readers the beautiful Restoration Center at Renewal Ranch. Bryce McGhee, marketing and development coordinator, will be joining us for the segment to share information about the center and its availability for special events.”

Other features in the November issue:

  • Neighbors – Judi Lively has a lot to be thankful for as she considers the upcoming holiday season. Most of all, she is thankful that her oldest son is getting help with his addiction problem and her family will all be together during the holidays for the first time in four years.
  • Sports – The Greenbrier Panthers and the Vilonia Eagles face off for the First Service Cup in their annual county rivalry Friday, Nov. 2. 
  • Couple of the month – Jason and Ashley Braswell are loving life in Conway, where he works for Edward Jones and she is a sales director with Mary Kay.
  • Person of the month – With 32 years of military service, Fairfield Bay’s Calton Mitchell received numerous awards, including the Legion of Merit, Bronze Star, Purple Heart, Enlisted Surface Warfare badge and Combat Action badge.
