The University of Central Arkansas will feature “Broadway on Ice” at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 21, in the Donald W. Reynolds Performance Hall.

The event is sponsored by 501 LIFE.

“Broadway on Ice is a unique show that is unlike anything that has ever been brought to Reynolds,” said Amanda Horton, director of UCA Public Appearances. “The audience won’t want to miss the opportunity to see amazing skaters and talented musicians perform the great hits of Broadway.”

The show will mark the first time that Reynolds has ever been turned into an ice-skating rink.

“The stage will literally be made into an ice skating rink for the performers,” Horton said. “We will even have the Steinway grand piano on ice. It is a very technically challenging show with the building of the ice set.”

According to broadwayonice.com, the show features a dazzling international “All Principal” cast, guest stars, singers and pianists. It features 16 individuals, including lead vocalists Davis Gaines and Ira Lauren. Willy Bietak, who also serves as the producer, conceived the show.

Tickets, available at the UCA Ticket Central Box Office, are $30-$40 for the adults, $27-$37 for senior citizens, $25-$35 for UCA alumni, $23-$33 for UCA faculty and staff and $10 for UCA students with a current student ID and children.
