29 Jun 2015 501 LIFE segment scheduled today on KARK Channel 4

The July “Celebrating Pets” issue of 501 LIFE will be highlighted on KARK Channel 4 during the 12:30 p.m. show on Tuesday, June 30 (today).

Each month, 501 LIFE publisher and editor Sonja Keith presents information about that month’s issue.

“In our July edition, 501 LIFE is celebrating those special family members who come in all shapes and sizes, and who mean so much – our pets,” said Keith.

Fran Hickman, who is featured in the Neighbors section of the magazine, will accompany Keith for the segment. “Fran is a real animal lover who spends her time rescuing dogs and planning the annual Central Arkansas PuppyUp! Canine Cancer Walk.”

For the main story of this issue, 501 LIFE features a variety of pet owners, from dog owners Dr. Greg Hartman and Jay Myers to cat lover Mary Beth Lagenaur. There is also Morgan Miller and her quarter horse Dr. Pepper, Katie Grady with her geckos, and Kinley Johnston who has a hedgehog and miniature horses.
