501 Kids winter issue now hitting the streets

The Winter 2017 edition of 501 Kids is hitting the streets, with photos of local students celebrating the holidays as well as stories to help parents and caregivers.

“This edition includes adorable photos that highlight some of those special school activities in November and December,” said editor/co-publisher Sonja J. Keith. “We want to thank all of the teachers and students for sharing their photos for publication in 501 Kids.”

501 Kids welcomes “Loving 501 Kids” photos showing young people involved in sports teams, school groups, birthday parties and other events holding a copy of the Kids magazine.

Send photos along with caption information to [email protected] or 701 Chestnut St., Conway, AR 72032.

“With winter comes a nice time to rest, regroup and reflect as we consider what lies ahead in 2017,” Keith said. “Maybe New Year’s resolutions include a goal to focus more on the positive and encourage your young person to show more kindness. 501 Kids/501 LIFE contributor Katelin Whiddon has some great suggestions.”

Perhaps the new year will mean an addition to your family. 501 Kids/501 LIFE contributor Brittany Gilbert has some wonderful items on products to help make life easier during this exciting time.

Also in this issue, 501 Kids contributor Amy Routt looks at the art of storytelling and shares information about the upcoming AETN Writers Contest.
