40th annual charity ball planned in Morrilton

The Century League of Morrilton will host the 40th annual charity ball at 6 p.m. March 4 at Point Remove Brewery, 102 S. Crestliner in Morrilton. This dynamic fundraising event is themed A Night in Monte Carlo. Tickets are $50, and the ball will feature casino games provided by the Morrilton Knights of Columbus. There will be a super raffle and winners do not have to be present to collect prizes. 

The super raffle prizes have been donated by local businesses. Event attendees will enjoy heavy hors d’ oeuvres by Kristi Carlon-Strain, wine, beer and a casino cocktail by Point Remove Brewing. Guests will also enjoy live music and dancing by the Akeem Kemp Band. Attendees must be and least 21 years old and are encouraged (but not required) to show off their sharpest Monte Carlo style. 
Tickets for both the ball and super raffle can be purchased from any Century League member or at UACCM’s Admissions Office, Health-Care Pharmacy, and Farm Bureau Insurance. A limited number of ball tickets will be available at the door and raffle tickets will also be available at the ball. Winners need not be present to collect their prizes.

This year’s super raffle features a Blackstone Hard Top Griddle, donated by Green Bay Packaging Pinecrest Division; a 10.2” Apple iPad Wi-Fi 64GB, donated by Magie Vet Clinic; a Glock G42 .380 Caliber Automatic, donated by LK Construction and Remodeling; a Med Spa Package featuring one tube of Juvederm, 30 units of Botox, a Hydrofacial, and $100 worth of products, donated by Dixon Family Dental and Med Spa; and a Stay and Play Morrilton Package with gift certificates from various Morrilton businesses, donated by Movie House Winery, Petit Jean Coffeehouse, Playland, and more. Tickets for these items are $5 each or 5 for $20. 

A TrailMaster Mid XRX Go Kart, donated by Haynes Home Center, Hawkins Insurance and Edward Jones, will also be raffled. Tickets for the Go-Kart are $10 each or 6 for $50.

The Century League of Morrilton is a 501(c)(3) organization whose focus is making the community a better place through service and donations. The charity ball helps the Century League support local causes like scholarships, the Free Little Pantry, and Christmas gifts for children in need – just to name a few.
