15 Sep 2012 15th Annual Fall Antique Auto Swap Meet
The 15th Annual Fall Antique Auto Swap Meet will be held Wednesday, Sept. 19, through Saturday, Sept. 22, on Petit Jean Mountain.
The event is hosted by the Museum of Automobiles and features hundreds of antique, classic and special interest automobiles for sale. In addition, more than 600 spaces are available for parts, supplies, books, memorabilia and numerous other hobby-related items. There is also a section for arts and crafts and flea market items.
The swap meet starts on Wednesday, Sept. 19. All activities are open to the public and admission is free. Proceeds of this event go to support The Museum of Automobiles, a non-profit, tax-exempt organization.
A new added attraction is the “Open Car Show” that will be held on Saturday, Sept. 22. There will be classes for virtually any car made. Registration is $30 which includes one free admission to The Museum of Automobiles.
The Military Vehicle Rally will be bigger and better. More than 50 restored vehicles of all sizes will be on display. Also, driving and individual activities will be conducted Friday and Saturday.
