Youth Advocate Resource Network to host networking conference for all ages in Mayflower

Youth Advocate Resource Network will host a networking conference titled “Bridging the Generation Gap” from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, June 1 at Mayflower Community & Senior Center, 1 Ashmore Drive, Mayflower (Faulkner County.)

The conference is designed to engage students in an interactive forum to bring awareness and encourage excellence in school, at home and in the community. “Students of all ages — retirees, community and church leaders, school and college staff members, from throughout the state are encouraged to attend,” said Hoskins, executive director of YARN.

Special guests include The Faulkner County Black Nurses Association; Claudia Fountain, Educator, Certified Bilingual Interpreter and Community Activist; Harvell Howard, who holds a PhD in Leadership Studies and founded Arkansas Summits; Judge Marion Humphrey Sr. of the Law Offices Humphrey & Humphrey; Antonio Jamison, Founder of the Jamison Success Center; Cherese Jones, Federal Bureau of Investigation, a Victim’s Specialist; Ron McAdoo, educator, poet and Founder of Get MCTIVATED; Wesley Peters, author; Patrick Presley, Community Affairs Director of Simmons Bank; Patrick Randall, Qualified Behavior Health Provider will be the Conference Moderator; Akire Williamson, author; Jackie Wright, Capitol and Conflicts Attorney, Arkansas Public Defender Commission.
