Wooster hosts annual Independence Day Celebration

The City of Wooster hosted the annual Independence Day Celebration on June 24 at the city park. Hundreds of people attended the event which included food trucks, kids’ games, live music and a formal patriotic program. At dark, they enjoyed a fireworks display.

The Little Rock Air Force Base Honor Guard presented the colors: Cyprys Blandon’ (from left), Simeon Packer, Teddy Gould and Noah Blais.

During the program, the following leaders spoke: Faulkner County Judge Allen Dodson, Wooster Mayor Terry Don Robinson, city employee and event organizer Lisa Vaden, Rep. Stephen Meeks, Col. Conrad Reynolds and Pastor Freddie Mark Wilcox.
