26 Jun 2023 Wooster hosts annual Independence Day Celebration
The City of Wooster hosted the annual Independence Day Celebration on June 24 at the city park. Hundreds of people attended the event which included food trucks, kids’ games, live music and a formal patriotic program. At dark, they enjoyed a fireworks display.
During the program, the following leaders spoke: Faulkner County Judge Allen Dodson, Wooster Mayor Terry Don Robinson, city employee and event organizer Lisa Vaden, Rep. Stephen Meeks, Col. Conrad Reynolds and Pastor Freddie Mark Wilcox.
The Little Rock Air Force Base Honor Guard presented the colors and played taps. 501 LIFE contributors Don Bingham and Donald Brazile sang The National Anthem and military branch songs.
