11 Aug 2014 Women's shelter to host fundraiser

The Women’s Shelter of Central Arkansas will host its annual Great Escape fundraiser 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Friday, Sept. 5, and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 6, at the Conway Expo Center and Fairgrounds.

The event will feature a variety of activities for participants: selective shopping, a fashion show and personal services (makeovers, massages, manicures and pedicures, etc.). There are still a few merchants spots available for the event. (New merchants will be accepted until the set-up date Sept 3).  

Proceeds from the Great Escape benefit the Women’s Shelter of Central Arkansas, a non-profit corporation engaged in providing a promise of hope and a haven of safety for women and children who seek protection and relief from domestic abuse.
