CONWAY — The Arkansas Healthcare Association hosted the District 1 Senior Queen Pageant on June 12 at the Conway Expo Center.

Winner Betty Cockerell represented Salem Place Nursing & Rehab.

The winner was Betty Cockerell who represented Salem Place Nursing & Rehab Center.

Tom Voegle and his mother, Mea Voegle, 1st Runner-Up, representing Superior Health & Rehab.

Next, the beauty will compete in the district-wide competition, and the winner will compete in September in the State Queen Pageant in Little Rock. The competition began as a celebration of National Nursing Home Week in the 1980s. 

Miss Congeniality Norma Sure Brister represented Greenbrier Nursing & Rehab and was photographed with David Fancher.

Other winners include 1st runner-up Mea Voegle, representing Superior Health & Rehab,  and Miss Congeniality Norma Sure Brister, representing Greenbrier Nursing & Rehab.
