28 Jan 2013 Wildwood Park for the Arts hosts LANTERNS!
Inspired by Asian traditions, LANTERNS! Festival celebrates the first full moon of the lunar year with hundreds of luminaria, live entertainment and gourmet treats.
The festival, hosted by Wildwood Park for the Arts in Little Rock, is scheduled for 6 to 10 p.m. Friday, Feb. 22, and Saturday, Feb. 23, and from 6 to 9 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 24.
Lighted walking paths and fire pits along the lake lead park visitors into winter woodlands to discover eight vistas of light representing a variety of eras, cultures and locations, from Venice to Rio de Janeiro to the moon.
Admission is $10 for adults, $5 ages 6 to 12 and free for children 5 and under. For additional information, visit wildwoodpark.org.
