16 May 2016 White County Single Parent Scholarship Fund given grant

The White County Single Parent Scholarship Fund Inc. recently received a Giving Tree Grant in the amount of $1,700 from the White County Community Foundation.

The award was made at the recent WCCF Awards Ceremony at Harding University.  

The funds will be used to award two White County Community Foundation Scholarships.  

The White County Single Parent Scholarship Fund awards scholarships to single parents of minor children who are pursing post-secondary education. Since its inception in 1999, WCSPSF has awarded 522 scholarships with a combined value of $295,011.50.
