White County Single Parent Scholarship Fund awards 11 scholarships

The White County Single Parent Scholarship Fund, Inc. recently awarded eleven summer scholarships.

The awards were Patricia Baptiste who received the Kirk Manor Memorial Scholarship; Casey Carr-Centennial Bank Scholarship; Kaylee Clyatt-First Electric Cooperative Scholarship; Valerie Hartwick-Hawley Family Foundation Scholarship; Toni Little-Hawley Family Foundation Scholarship; Brady Novak-Hawley Family Foundation Scholarship; Catherine Reaper-David Ratley Memorial/Guns Plus Scholarship; Darla Sark-David Ratley Memorial/Guns Plus Scholarship; Tiffany String-David Ratley Memorial/Guns Plus Scholarship; Alexandria Sullivan-David Ratley Memorial/Guns Plus Scholarship; and, Sequoia Teague-Walmart Endowment Scholarship.  

White County Single Parent Scholarship Fund, Inc. (WCSPSF) awards scholarships to single parents of minor children who are pursuing post-secondary education to improve their lives and those of their children.  

WCSPSF is celebrating its 25th anniversary of awarding single-parent scholarships in White County.  Since its beginning in 1999, the nonprofit has awarded 809 scholarships with a combined value of $527,574.
