Conway – Central Baptist College continues their Alumni Spotlight and recently focused on a former baseball player who is now a successful businessman.
Myles Hiebert played four seasons for the Mustangs from 2011-2014, graduating in 2016 with a bachelor’s degree in general studies. In 162 career games for CBC (eighth all-time), Hiebert batted .317 with 167 hits (fifth all-time), 127 runs scored (third all-time), 41 doubles (third all-time), 24 home runs (tied for fourth all-time), 148 runs batted in (second all-time), 282 total bases (fifth all-time), a .536 slugging percentage, and 30 stolen bases, tied for eighth all-time. His 65 RBIs in 2013 were the most ever in a single-season in program history and has only been tied twice.
Hiebert is now a successful business owner in his native Canada in the town of Steinbach in Manitoba. He is the founder and CEO of Chekkit (chekkit.io), a review management company that works all over the world from the U.S. to Australia. He is also the founder and CEO of Peak Energy (gopeakenergy.com), a company based in New Jersey that sells and promotes clean energy to commercial businesses and residences all over the U.S.
Hiebert said that he originally found CBC through an online search. When asked what his best experience at CBC was, Hiebert replied “I don’t believe there was just one, but stepping on the baseball field was always a great experience for me at CBC.”
