UCA to present Festival of One-Act Plays Dec. 4-6

The University of Central Arkansas Theatre Program will present the annual Festival of One-Act Plays and Scenes at 7:30 p.m. Monday, Dec. 4, through Wednesday, Dec. 6, in the Bridges/Larson Theatre of the Snow Fine Arts Center.

“The Festival of One-Acts and Scenes is entirely student-chosen and student-directed,” said Dr. Kevin Browne, academic director and associate professor of Theatre. “Featuring roughly 40 actors from various campus majors and minors, it is truly a community event.”

The festival is free and open to the public. Tickets are not required. Doors open at 7 each night. Seating will be limited.

The Festival of One-Act Plays and Scenes is the capstone for UCA Theatre majors and one of the most popular events in the theatre program.

The plays are all directed and produced by UCA Theatre students enrolled in the Directing Class, with the assistance of more than 50 cast and crew members.
