12 Jan 2020 UCA plans MLK Prayer Breakfast
The University of Central Arkansas Office of Diversity and Community will host the annual MLK Prayer Breakfast on Friday, Jan. 17, in the Student Center Ballroom. Breakfast begins at 8:15 a.m., and the official program begins at 9 a.m.
The breakfast is held each year to celebrate the spiritual legacy and moral courage that Dr. Martin Luther King brought to the social justice movement.
This year’s theme is “The Dream: Vision Beyond 20/20.”
The keynote speaker will be Tamika S. Edwards, J.D., executive director of the Social Justice Institute at Philander Smith College in Little Rock.
