04 Jun 2012 UCA NAACP presents Youth Leadership Conference

About 90 students from across the state are expected to attend the conference, which will be held in the UCA College of Business auditorium.

“The goal of this conference is to further develop the leadership skills of the youth of the state of Arkansas, create a network amongst the youth and introduce the youth to life on a college campus,” said Elise Hampton, vice president of the UCA chapter.

“We believe that by creating better high school leaders we create better college leaders, and thus we raise the standards of Arkansas’ colleges.”
