Representatives of the University of Central Arkansas recently held a ribbon-cutting for UCA Downtown located in Downtown Conway.

About 300 individuals turned out for the event.

The 2,500-square-foot multi-use center, located on Oak Street, will be the home to culinary, fine arts, technology and other community education and lifelong learning programs.

A front gallery area features rotating exhibitions of original works of art by UCA students, faculty and alumni.

The venue can also be rented to host upscale events.
