12 Aug 2024 UCA Advancement announces new hires and promotions
CONWAY—The University of Central Arkansas Division of Advancement, along with the UCA Foundation, announces the following new hires and promotions.
Ken Bissell, of Searcy, is the new senior director of Legacy Planning. He comes to UCA from Harding University where he was a member of the Advancement staff since 2011, including director of the Center for Charitable Estate Planning from 2020.
Morgan Drayton, of Conway and a 2014 and 2022 graduate of UCA, was promoted to senior director of development for the College of Health and Behavioral Sciences. She previously worked in alumni relations and development at UCA since 2017.
Amy Fureigh, of Conway and a 2010 UCA graduate, started on July 1 as the director of development for the College of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences. Amy comes to us with a diverse background in both business marketing and education. Most recently she was a teacher with Virtual Arkansas.
Paul Gatling, of Bentonville, is the new senior director of Northwest Arkansas engagement. He joined the Northwest Arkansas Business Journal in 2011 and has been the publication’s editor and associate publisher since 2013.
Courtney Goode, of Bigelow, was hired by the UCA Foundation as a foundation project specialist. She joined UCA in 2022 and previously worked in the Office of Financial Aid.
Riley Matheny, of Bryant, has been promoted to director of branding and creative services within University Marketing and Communications. She joined UCA in 2022 as a graphic designer.
Erica Ruble, of Conway, was promoted to director of operations and finance for the Advancement Division. She is a 2011 graduate of UCA and previously worked in Financial Accounting, the President’s Office and University Marketing and Communications.
Shelbey Winningham, of Conway, was hired by the UCA Foundation to serve as a foundation support specialist. Prior to joining UCA, she worked at Leisure Arts in Maumelle as an administrative assistant.
