The University of Arkansas Community College at Morrilton Phi Beta Lambda student organization has plans for its seventh annual UACCM Pageant Saturday, Nov. 9, at the Fine Arts Auditorium on the UACCM campus. The pageant is open to current UACCM students and girls between the ages of birth and 17 years competing in seven other categories. Those competing for the title of Miss UACCM will be judged on beauty, professionalism, speech presentation and interview skills. The winner of the Miss UACCM division will receive a $1,000 scholarship to UACCM, and the first alternate in that category will receive a $500 scholarship. Admission to the pageant is $3. Children under age four get in free. The pre-registration deadline is 4 p.m. Monday, Oct. 28, with a $30 fee. The final registration deadline is 4 p.m. Monday, Nov. 4 with a $40 fee. The fee to participate in competitions for prettiest smile, prettiest eyes, prettiest hair and most photogenic is $5 for each category.
