30 Jul 2025 Twenty-eight Nighthawks named to NJCAA All-Academic teams
HOT SPRINGS — Twenty-eight student-athletes for National Park College (NPC) Nighthawk Athletics’ baseball, softball, women’s basketball and men’s and women’s soccer teams were named to the 2024-25 National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) All-Academic teams this week for their outstanding performance and dedication in the classroom.

Sophomores Gracie Fowler (softball, Texarkana), Hannah McLain (women’s basketball, Cove) and Jessica Suire (softball, New Iberia, Louisiana) and freshmen Paige Attaway (softball, Fouke), Price Bedwell (baseball, Rogers), Nash Brown (baseball, Ashdown), Ella Cross (softball, Monroe, Louisiana), Maci Graves (softball, Whitesboro, Texas), Ian McCracken (baseball, Carrollton, Texas), Danny Ralpho (baseball, Rogers) and Ty Ruby (baseball, Greenbrier) were named to the All-Academic first team for maintaining a 4.0 GPA.
Sophomores Wesley Campbell (baseball, Fountain Lake), Tim Heck (men’s soccer, Frankfurt, Germany), Cynthia Lopez (women’s soccer, Carthage, Texas), Yanisel Martinez (women’s soccer, Dallas, Texas), Ryan McClure (baseball, Double Oak, Texas) and Bryan Raitz (baseball, Dallas, Texas) and freshman Louis Learoyd (men’s soccer, Aix Les Baines, France) were named to the All-Academic second team for maintaining a minimum GPA of 3.80.
Sophomores Natalie Brice (women’s soccer, Benton, Louisiana), Landon Hennen (baseball, Choudrant, Louisiana), Alondra Limon (women’s soccer, Alvin, Texas), Karlee Marrall (softball, Perryville) and Tayler Southern (softball, Winnsboro, Louisiana) join freshmen Avery Creech (softball, Logansport, Louisiana), Tim Grahmann (men’s soccer, Rüdesheim am Rhein, Germany), Rachel Lawyer (softball, Rockwall, Texas), Landrey Richardson (women’s basketball, Grannis) and Joey Staiger (baseball, Tucson, Arizona) as All-Academic third team honorees, maintaining a minimum GPA of 3.60.
“We are so extremely proud of our student athletes that have really excelled in the classroom and on the sporting field,” NPC Athletic Director Rich Thompson said. “This honor shows the dedication to excellence from not only an individual standpoint, but from a team standpoint as well We are so grateful for these student-athletes’ hard work and representation of National Park College and its programs.”
