Williams ended the night with 11 points and 11 rebounds, her third double-double of the season. Faith Lee also had another double-figure night, with 15 points. Emerald Parker chipped in with 14 points and seven rebounds. Jordan Holman added 11 points, including a half-court buzzer-beater to end the third quarter.

The Trojans trailed by seven going into halftime but had a quick 8-0 run in the first 2 minutes of the third quarter, cutting the SEMO lead to one.

Little Rock took their first lead of the second half with 5:50 left in the third period thanks to a layup by Parker.

Holman’s heave to end the quarter gave the Trojans a four-point lead heading into the final 10 minutes of regulation.

SEMO (4-12, 2-5) had a strong final quarter, with Ainaya Williams draining a jumper in the paint and a conventional three-point play on a layup by Skylar Barnes. Barnes nailed her free throws cutting the score to 58-56.

After the final media timeout, the Trojans made their move with hoops from Parker, Holman, and Lee.

Despite being outshot by SEMO, Little Rock forced 21 turnovers and converted those into 19 points. The Trojans out-rebounded the Redhawks 32-29.

Fr. Zoe Best led the Redhawks with 20 points on 8-of-13 shooting from the field, including 4-of-8 from behind the arc. Best was one of three Redhawks to finish in double figures including Da’Kariya Jackson with 15 points and Skylar Barnes with 11 points.

Little Rock continues their road stretch Saturday, heading to Cookeville, Tenn., to take on Tennessee Tech. Tip-off is set for 1 p.m.
