29 Aug 2015 Tickets available for Southern Living Custom Builder Showcase Home
Work will soon be completed by Conway builder Bret Franks Construction Inc. on Conway’s first Southern Living Custom Builder Program Showcase Home.
Tickets are on sale now for tours of the showcase home planned in October.
Franks, a member of the Southern Living Custom Builder Program, and Beth Tyler attended the annual SLCBP conference in Nashville, Tenn. earlier this year.
Called the Randolph Cottage, the home was inspired from a renovation of an old Cape Cod style home.
“We loved the New England cottage style, but wanted to add a large front porch to properly welcome this home to the South,” said Tyler. “Princeton Village in West Conway was the perfect location to debut this home plan. This is the first time this Southern Living Plan has been built and we are so excited to put our imprint on it.”
Organizers are working with Park Hill Home, based in Downtown Conway, for all matters of interior design on the showcase home.
“Their love of nostalgic design is perfect for a true Southern Cottage. Many items from their new collection will be showcased as well,” Tyler said. “If you’re in love with the return of classic barn doors, barn wood accents and the ‘what’s old is new again’ trend, then this home is a must see.”
The tour will kick off with an opening night party from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 8. Regular tours will run Friday, Oct. 9, through Saturday, Oct. 17. Hours are 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday and noon to 4 p.m. Sunday. The house is closed on Monday.
Tickets are $15 for general admission. Opening Night Party tickets are $50 each and include hors d’oeuvres and beverages plus a preview of the showcase home.
Tickets are available at bretfranks.com and at Park Hill Home. Proceeds from the tour will support Conway Regional Health System’s Emergency Room Renovation project and Operation FINALLY HOME, which provides mortgage-free homes to disabled veterans.
501 LIFE is the official media sponsor for the showcase home. For more information, please call Tyler at 501.730.5048 or Franks at 501.680.1238.
