26 May 2025 The Peacock Group wins national honors at PRSA Silver Anvil Awards
LITTLE ROCK — The Peacock Group (TPG) earned national recognition last week at the Public Relations Society of America’s (PRSA) prestigious 2025 Silver Anvil Awards in New York City. TPG took home a coveted Silver Anvil Award and an Award of Excellence, celebrating standout work on two impactful campaigns developed in partnership with leading philanthropic organizations.

Dubbed the “Oscars of the PR industry,” the PRSA Silver Anvils honor the best strategic communications programs in the country. TPG’s recognized campaigns were:
- Silver Anvil Winner – “Ella the Banker” Book Launch Campaign, supported by the Winthrop Rockefeller Foundation
- Award of Excellence – “Giving Birth in America: Arkansas” Documentary Promotion at the Bentonville Film Festival, supported by Ingeborg Initiatives on behalf of Every Mother Counts
“These national awards celebrate the power strategic storytelling has in driving real impact,” said Denver Peacock, founder and principal of TPG. “To be recognized among the nation’s best is an incredible honor and a testament to our team’s creativity, our clients’ trust, and the meaningful stories we are proud to help tell.”
The “Ella the Banker” campaign introduced a children’s book designed to inspire young girls of color to see themselves in banking and finance careers. TPG led a comprehensive statewide launch that included media outreach, influencer engagement and high-visibility public events designed to spark conversation about representation in financial literacy.
For the “Giving Birth in America: Arkansas” campaign, TPG managed a multi-month launch of Every Mother Counts’ maternal health documentary in Arkansas — highlighting the state’s maternal mortality crisis and encouraging critical conversations through community events, press coverage and stakeholder engagement. The effort was part of a larger public awareness initiative and previously earned state-level honors in 2024.
“Celebrating stories that make a difference is what drives us,” said Allyson Pittman Gattin, public relations director at TPG. “We are deeply grateful to the Winthrop Rockefeller Foundation, Every Mother Counts and Ingeborg Initiatives for their partnership and commitment to meaningful change.”
