The University of Central Arkansas’s Reynolds Performance Hall will open its 2018-19 Night Out series with The New Chinese Acrobats at 7:30 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 21.

Featured by IMG Artists, with performances scheduled across the country from San Francisco to Princeton, N.J., The New Chinese Acrobats were created in association with the world-famous Cirque Eloize Company.

“We have presented Cirque Eloize several times over the last 19 years,” said Amanda Horton, director of Reynolds Performance Hall. “Their performances are always filled with creative choreography, spectacular costumes and mesmerizing themes. When I heard about their role in the creation of this show I knew we must bring it to UCA.”

The New Chinese Acrobats combine ancient Chinese acrobatic techniques and modernize them in a way that captures the attention of audiences of all ages.

“The New Chinese Acrobats show will be full of lights, sounds and incredible movements. It will be a fantastic show for families to come to and a great way to expose their children to the arts and theatre all while teaching them about a different culture,” said Wendy Sparks, director of marketing and finance at Reynolds Performance Hall.

Tickets range from $30-$40 for the general public and $10 for children. Call UCA Ticket Central at 501.450.3265 between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. Monday through Friday, or toll-free from anywhere in Arkansas at 1.866.810.0012 or visit uca.edu/reynolds.
