Texas junior college prospect inks with Trojan Women

LITTLE ROCK — Texas junior college prospect Jarahle Daniels has signed with the Trojans women’s basketball team.

Daniels comes to Little Rock from Kilgore College where she averaged 11.5 points, 4.2 rebounds and 2.8 assists per game last winter. Daniels helped lead the Rangers to the Region 14 tournament championship and the NJCAA national tournament. It was the first time Kilgore advanced to the national tournament since 1993.

Daniels was selected to the Regional 14 All-Tournament team. She is ranked the 17th-best junior college point guard in the country and the 82nd best junior college player in the country.

“Jarahle brings a championship mindset with her,” said head coach Steve Wiedower. “She’s won multiple state championships and played a huge part in helping her team get to the national tournament this year. She’s a tremendous shooter and excellent defender and will help us from Day One as we compete for another Ohio Valley Conference championship.”
