The RP3 program supports the use and implementation of best practices that help utilities continue to be safe, reliable and thrive as organizations. By action of the APPA’s Board of Directors, the RP3 Review Panel was given the responsibility of approving all RP3 applications and program improvements, as well as providing general policy oversight for the program.

Members of the RP3 Panel are appointed to repeatable, two-year terms through a formal nomination process.

“Working with the APPA is nice and I’ve learned a lot,” Taylor said. “Serving on the board with industry professionals who are passionate about the service we provide to our customers and the ways we support our teams has been a great experience and I’m excited about the ways Conway Corp can continue to be involved with the association.”

Conway Corp Electric Systems Senior Engineer Ronson Smith agreed.

“Earnest has demonstrated years of dedication to reliability efforts like RP3,” Smith said. “He has taken the initiative and contributed to many consecutive RP3 designations. We are proud to see our peers in the APPA recognize his value.”

Taylor joined Conway Corp in May 2009 as an electric systems engineer intern and was promoted to his current role in June 2010.
