12 Oct 2011 Superior Chevrolet teams up with Arkansas Rush on fundraiser
In the spirit of teamwork taught by youth sports, Superior Chevrolet of Conway is teaming up with Arkansas Rush Soccer Club to help raise thousands of dollars for youth soccer.
The Arkansas Rush Soccer Club will have the opportunity to raise as much as $10,000 through the Chevy Youth Soccer program sponsored by Superior Chevrolet and other participating Chevrolet dealers.
For just $5 a raffle ticket, four lucky ticket holders will win a 2011 Chevy Equinox or Chevy Cruze vehicle of choice (up to $24,995 in value); and in each participating market there will be a secondary prize of a home entertainment center valued at $1,000. Superior Chevrolet is also donating a 42-inch flat screen HD television for one winner from tickets sold by the Arkansas Rush Soccer Club.
Raffle tickets can be purchased on the Arkansas Rush Soccer Club website (click here) or during Arkansas Rush soccer events scheduled at Centennial Park in Conway on Saturday, and Saturday, Nov. 19, and Sunday, Nov. 20.
In addition to the fundraising opportunity, Superior Chevrolet presented the Arkansas Rush Soccer Club with a $500 donation as well as soccer kits filled with equipment bags, soccer balls, sport cones, scrimmage vests and T-shirts.
“We are proud to be able to help the kids in our community by donating equipment and giving them the opportunity to raise much-needed funds for their Club,"said Mike Lemons. "We are excited to be part of the effort this year, and anticipate a fun-filled season with Arkansas Rush Soccer Club."
"This opportunity to raise $10,000 for our Club will help our organization greatly," said AR Rush President Matt Mittelstaedt. “As a non-profit organization, we rely heavily on player registration fees to offset our operating costs. Donations and fundraising opportunities, such as the Chevy Youth Soccer Fundraiser, help us to continue to provide a better soccer experience to our Rush players and families. We are grateful to Superior Chevrolet for their support of the AR Rush Soccer Club.”
