Organizers have announced plans for Walk To StopDV 2020 to support victims of domestic violence.

The virtual event will take place in October, which has been designated Domestic Violence Awareness Month. Participants can complete their walk at anytime and anywhere during in October.

Participants will be highlighted on social media throughout the month and are encouraged to follow the group’s pages and use the hashtag #WalkToStopDV when posting updates and photos.

It is $20 to register for the event. Registration ends Saturday, Oct. 31, at wecanstopdv.org/walk. Those who register before Thursday, Oct. 1, will receive an official event T-shirt. Sponsorships are also still available.
