28 Dec 2012 Statue unveiling at Conway High
A new Wampus Cat statue will make its home at Conway High School after the first of the year.
The new statue will be placed in the round-about in front of the James H. Clark Auditorium on the high school campus.
A special unveiling is planned at 4 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 8, and all are invited to attend.
“We would like to express appreciation to Centennial Bank for sponsoring the creation and casting of this bronze statue,” said Dr. Greg Murry, district superintendent. “The new statue will certainly make the Wampus Cat Nation very proud.”
