“Vegas” was the theme for this year’s Melodies & Medicine fundraising event at St. Vincent Morrilton.

The event raised $28,000 that will be used for a renovation project for the hospital’s emergency department.

The host couple was Dr. Brent and Lisa Scroggins with volunteers from the Morrilton Knights of Columbus managing the casino.

Southwestern Energy was the presenting sponsor of the event with the hospital auxiliary providing the food and beverage service. 501 LIFE was also a sponsor.  

A silent auction was held and playing chips were exchanged at the end of the night for tickets for a chance to win prizes.
