St. Vincent family 5K

The second annual CHI St. Vincent World Atrial Fibrillation Awareness Day 5K Family Fun Run & Walk will be held at 8 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 12, at the North Shore River Walk in North Little Rock. Registration begins at 7 a.m.

Arial Fibrillation, also known as AFib, is the most common serious heart rhythm disorder and causes 15 percent of strokes in the United States. The event is held to increase awareness about AFib and to promote healthy lifestyles for people living with it.

Money raised through the AFib 5K Family Fun Run & Walk will help support public awareness and investigator initiated research.
