St. Joseph’s Cross Country teams place in top ten at meet

CONWAY — St. Joseph High School’s Cross Country teams competed in the Vilonia Invitational on Oct. 7 and three runners placed in the top ten and received medals for their efforts. 

In the Junior Boys two-mile run, Travis Jackson came in 6th with a time of 12:26:18. In a special 5K for 9th graders, Avery Cooper won 5th Place with a time of 23:36:49. Anna Nabholz was right behind her in 6th Place. Her time was 24:05: 29. There were no 7th or 8th grade girls who finished in the Top Ten 2-mile Run, but three runners came close. Ivy Martens was 13th with a time of 14:49:8 while Edith Ramirez and Abigail Rehm came in 15th and 17th.
