The St. Joseph Senior Boys Golf Team has already hit the links even though school hasn’t begun yet. 

Last year’s state champions got off to a great start by winning the Fairfield Bay Classic at Mountain Ranch on Aug. 5 with a team score of 245.

Timmy Coney led the way as Gold Medalist with a 77 and the Silver Medalist was Luke Bruich, who finished with an 82. Gus Longing fared well with an 86 and Collin Coney came in with a 91.

There were five other schools in the match and Shirley was in second place. 

Head Coach Mike Prall and assistants Brent Breeding and Lindell Atkinson were there to cheer on the Bulldogs.
