21 May 2014 St. Joseph receives $700 from Kids Run Arkansas
St. Joseph School recently received a check for $700 from the Conway Regional Fitness Center for its participation in the sixth annual Kids Run Arkansas.
The one-mile and three-mile fun run/walk is for kids of all ages in Arkansas. The local run took place April 18 at Laurel Park. Families were encouraged to participate.
St. Joseph students in grades kindergarten through sixth grade took part. The top three schools with the highest percentage of registrants were awarded funds to be used for their physical education programs.
St. Joseph had the most with 56 percent participation. This is the fourth year in a row St. Joseph has held the honor.
