St. Joseph School was officially presented with a check for $2.000 by the Conway Regional Health and Fitness Center for having the greatest participation by a school or organization in the Ninth Annual Kids Run Arkansas held April 21 in Conway’s Laurel Park.

With 244 entrants, St. Joseph earned the distinction for the eighth consecutive year.

Kids Run Arkansas promotes physical activity and wellness for children and youth in Central Arkansas.

Physical education teacher Karen Vandivere organized St. Joseph’s participation in the run. The money will go to purchase athletic equipment for the elementary and middle school campuses.

Groovy Smiles Pediatric Dentistry in Conway is the title sponsor for the event.
