St. Joseph hosts 112th Bazaar Aug. 2-3

CONWAY — St. Joseph will celebrate its 112th Bazaar on Aug. 2 and 3. This year’s event will take place on the church grounds, and there will be many prizes on Raffle Row. Delicious box lunches will be sold on Friday and a 2024 Polaris Ranger Crew 1000 Premium and trailer will be raffled to a lucky winner and drawn Saturday evening. There will be many Flea Market finds, lots of fun on the Midway, good food and a great time for all ages!

On Friday, Aug. 2, the traditional box lunches of homemade spaghetti with marinara sauce, brats, chicken strips, green beans, homemade rolls, and delicious desserts will be sold at the St. Joseph Spiritan Center from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Each lunch costs $12, with dessert available for $3. Whole pies and cakes will also be sold. There will not be an evening spaghetti dinner, so take advantage of the box lunches which should be picked up from the Spiritan Center entrance at the south end of Front Street. The midway will open at 5:30 p.m. on Friday and Saturday and will include the popular ham and bacon stand and a cake stand, bingo, face painting, a bounce house and lots of kid games. There will also be many food stands, including the always popular hamburger stand, carnival food, snow cones and more.

On Saturday, Aug. 3, food and drink will be served at the Holy Spirits Lounge from 5 to 9 p.m. in the Spiritan Center. Tickets will be available for purchase at the door and cost $40 per single ticket (adult), $15 per single ticket (child), $75 per couple, and $100 for a family of 5 (two adults and three children). Wristbands will be given when purchasing tickets and must be worn at all times while in the lounge.

When the midway closes on Saturday, drawings will be held for many raffle prizes. The grand prize raffle is a 2024 Polaris Ranger Crew 1000 Premium and tandem trailer from C2 Powersports. The raffle’s second prize is a $1000 credit to Total Tire, and the third-place prize is a Blackstone Grill donated by Hiegel Supply with a $200 gift card to Bell Urban Farm.
