11 Sep 2024 St. Joseph golf excels on the Links at Cadron Valley

CONWAY – St. Joseph High School’s boys and girls golf teams played Tuesday on the Links at Cadron Valley Golf and Country Club. They competed with Mayflower and Lamar, and the Bulldogs scored best during the nine-hole competition with a team score of 125. The Mayflower boys came in second with a 158 and Lamar finished at 162. St. Joseph senior Price Harmon was the medalist with a score of 40. 

St. Joseph’s girls team also prevailed with a team score of 158. Mayflower’s girls followed, but Lamar does not have a girls’ team. Freshman Lola Jackson led the way for the Lady Bulldogs as the medalist by shooting a 49. 

Both teams play again today at the same course against Conway Christian and Quitman.
