Spring Fun Fly on May 20

The ConwayRC radio controlled airplane club will host its Annual Spring Fun Fly event from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday, May 20, at Beaverfork Park in Conway.

There will be multiple styles of aircraft in attendance from all over the state and surrounding states. There will be helicopters, historical planes and aerobatic planes that will put on an amazing demonstration.

For those interested in the new “drone” racing that you see on TV, there will be drone racing throughout the day and people available to answer any questions.

The event is free to spectators and only $10 for model pilots (AMA membership required). There will also be a raffle with more than $2,000 in prizes that is open to everyone.

If you have never flown before and would like to try your hand at the controls, organizers will have a special plane that will be flying all day that you can try with no experience required. For more information, visit conwayrc.com.
