19 Jan 2026 Spark Community receives $250,000 gift for Foundation
HEBER SPRINGS — For more than four decades, Spark Community (formerly the Community School of Cleburne County) has provided exemplary care to developmentally and intellectually delayed children and adults in north central Arkansas. In 2026, the nonprofit is establishing its fundraising foundation with an anonymous gift of $250,000.

“We are beyond thrilled at this new opportunity to provide the best therapies, resources and care to the children and families of north central Arkansas,” said Rebecca Dwyer-Coop, CFRE, executive director of Spark Community. “Our board is now making plans for how these funds will be invested in our community and will include a capital campaign for supportive living, a permanent structure for our horse therapy (hippotherapy), and a renovation of our inclusive playground.”
This contribution is the first gift of the newly established Spark Community Foundation, supporting all humans to ignite their potential.
