18 Mar 2018 Southern Silks event on May 5
Methodist Family Health will saddle up its stable of stick ponies this May to help raise funds to rebuild the lives of Arkansas children and families. Southern Silks, the organization’s signature fundraiser, is set for 6 p.m. Saturday, May 5, at the Metroplex Event Center at 10800 Col. Glenn Road in Little Rock.
Arkansans can help Methodist Family Health celebrate the 144th running of the Kentucky Derby with this post-race, Derby Day-soiree that will include faux horse races where guests are the jockeys. Prizes will be awarded for each race, and guests will enjoy a Kentucky Derby-inspired dinner and libations, live and silent auctions, a hat contest and much more.
Southern Silks benefits Methodist Family Health, a 119-year-old organization that provides psychiatric, behavioral, emotional and spiritual health care to Arkansas children and families.
Tickets are $75 per person (assigned seating, open table) or $50 per person (general admission). To purchase tickets, visit the Southern Silks Eventbrite page at www.eventbrite.com/e/southern-silks-a-derby-day-soiree-benefiting-methodist-family-health-2018-tickets-43852270321, call Jamie Griffith at 501.906.4209 or email [email protected].
