Counting on Each Other, Inc.’s annual Community Shred –It fundraising event will be held 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 7, in the Bank of the Ozarks parking lot at 120 Audubon Dr. in Maumelle.

A mobile shredding unit will be available with personnel to shred materials. Volunteers will also unload materials from cars. For a small donation of $5 per box/ bag, the group will offer the service to the community and in return, 100 percent of the proceeds support the dental healthcare needs of eligible Maumelle seniors. 

The mission of Counting on Each Other is to enrich the lives of senior citizens by fulfilling transportation, educational, social and recreational needs in an effective and compassionate manner.
