The Sherwood Rotary Club is hosting “Conquer the Climb,” a 5K fun run and a 1-mile family walk/run on Saturday, Sept. 28, at Sherwood Forest, 1111 W. Maryland Avenue in Sherwood. The Sherwood Rotary Club hosts the event.

“Lace up your sneakers and get ready to sprint, strut and climb your way to greatness at the Sherwood 5K Fun Run!” said Race Director Kyle Blakely. “It’s not just about bragging rights for crossing the finish line; we’re raising money for scholarships, youth programs and community projects right here in Central Arkansas.”

Pre-registration discounts are offered, and a virtual runner option is offered. The online registration deadline is Sept. 20, and race day registrations cost an additional $10. Leashed pets are only allowed in the 1-mile race.
