03 Jun 2024 Several 501 churches offer Vacation Bible School in June
Many people have fond memories of attending or teaching at a church-sponsored Vacation Bible School (VBS), and many churches will offer a program this month.
Each church chooses a theme for the fun event. “Our scripture this year is Psalm 56:3, which states, ‘Whenever I’m afraid, I put my trust in you,’” said Karen Himes with PeaceConway church. “We’ll use a campground setting to help kids explore timeless Bible stories that show how Old and New Testament campers trusted God in the face of their own fears and went on to do great things in His name.”
Activities at most VBS programs include recreation, Bible class, music and snacks. Check out social media pages or call church offices to confirm details and register students.
