Searcy displays light show projection mapping technology

SEARCY – The City of Searcy is gearing up for a dazzling holiday season as it introduces light show projection mapping technology at the White County Courthouse. Searcy has been turned into a winter wonderland that promises to captivate the hearts of residents and visitors alike.

“Christmas is always a special time in Searcy, and this year is going to be even better than ever,” Mayor Mat Faulkner said. “We will be the first in the state to use this light show projection mapping technology for holiday lights. There will be a series of shows on display throughout the month that are all unique to our community. We will even be able to display a special show during our New Year’s Eve Celebration downtown.”

The projection mapping project was made possible through the collaboration and support of the Searcy A&P Commission, City of Searcy, and White County. “It’s so exciting to me to continue to see collaboration among these entities to improve our community,” Faulkner said.

“The Holiday of Lights Committee is always looking for ways to create an even bigger experience for our community and those who visit Searcy during the holidays,” Holiday of Lights Committee Chair Tonia Hale said.

The projection mapping technology will illuminate the White County Courthouse with a series of unique and enchanting holiday light shows that will be on display throughout the season, culminating in a special show during the New Year’s Eve Celebration.

In addition to the courthouse, the Holiday of Lights extends its reach across town to Berryhill Park. Residents and visitors are invited to experience Searcy through the Holiday of Lights. Visit experiencesearcy.com for more information.
